My PhD project revolves around the use of optical metasurfaces to create ultra-compact optical metrology systems, realised as a probe to enable high precision in-situ and on-machine measurement, potentially providing the ability to diagnose and correct manufacturing errors, and contribute towards the goal of automation within the scope of Industry 4.0.Professional Bio:
I am a PhD student working on use of metasurfaces for chromatic confocal sensing. I have attended and presented at the BICOP 2023 and Photonics Europe 2024 conferences.
